What is Microdermabrasion?
First Developed in Europe over a decade ago, microdermabrasion is a major advance in skin care. Previously available only through skin care professionals, this popular cosmetic treatment provides optimum exfoliation - safely and effectively. Unlike some other skin exfoliation treatments that might irritate the skin, this process leaves your skin renewed, restored and "rejuvenated". You can also continue to use it with your own skin care system and makeup.
The original clinical process used Aluminum Oxide crystals in a vacuum pump machine that sprayed these crystals over the skin at a high velocity while continuously vacuuming the residue which contains old skin and crystal residue. This rigorous agitation process dislodges the dead surface layer of facial skin to reveal the new layer beneath. This process is normally performed by a licensed Dermatologist or a trained esthetician. The newest advancement of this process added Aluminum Oxide crystals to a natural base cream that can be applied by digital manipulation in the privacy of your home.
Renueve™ is for a new you! This professionally tested skin resurfacing system reduces and erases fine lines, wrinkles, skin discoloration and age spots. It visibly firms sagging skin while helping to improve muscle tone, minimizes pore size and erases the effects of sun damage. No pain, no discomfort, no lengthy recovery time! Use on face, neck, back and hands. Notice results after the first use. Safe and effective for all skin types. Regimen includes one 2.0 oz. jar of microdermabrasion scrub, and one bottle of the Skin Refining Serum.
The Renueve™ regimen is a dual function product. First, the manual exfoliation of skin cells comes from the microdermabrasion scrub, and second the Skin Refining Serum works to rejuvenate and rehydrate the skin and helps protect new cells on the surface. Is it easy to use? YES!!! Just apply a thin, even layer to a moist cleansed area to be treated. Then with fingertips apply medium pressure while using circular motions for up to 2 minutes. Rinse away and use a toner to remove any residual product, then apply the Skin Refining Serum to hydrate, plump & soothe the skin. That's it! This should be performed for 5 days in a row, and thereafter 2-3 x a week to maintain great results.
One series of 5 treatments offers the same results as having one treatment from a machine. However, our product does not damage the skin like microdermabrasion peel machines do with the sucking action of the equipment. This is just PURE exfoliation, no damage to capillaries, at a fraction of the cost! Join the growing list of repeat customers who are enjoying the benefits! Get started today for refined, fresher, younger looking, clear skin.

Home microdermabrasion cream with corundum aluminum oxide microcrystals embedded in the most effective natural biological solution for skin regeneration. For application with your fingers.
Contains biological glycoconjugates packed with enzymes, co-enzymes, antioxidants, trace minerals, peptides and proteins that contribute to dissolve scar and damaged tissues deep within the skin, boost the proliferation of your body's antimicrobials, moderate inflammaging, trigger the reproduction of fibroblasts and thus activate the production of collagen, elastin and the water holding molecules to deeply moisturize the skin. 4oz - three month's treatment supply.
Includes a two month supply of Vitamin-Enriched Resurfacing Cream, an Electric Power Resurfacing Tool and Soft Sponge Applicator, Cleansing Facial Wash, Facial Mist & Toner and Daily Protection Moisturizer with SPF 15

Includes a Facial Rejuvenation Formula Microdermabrasion Cream, a dual-speed electric power resurfacing tool, 2 teardrop-shaped foam applicators, 1 soft-bristle brush.
The active ingredients in the micro dermabrasion cream from Dermanew are identical to those in Youthful Essence. Dermanew, however, has several new natural ingredients (green tea, carrot and grape seed extracts) which are good for soothing sensitive skin, especially after peeling.
The Dermanew resurfacing tool is more powerful than the Youthful Essence one and the foam applicators snap into place more securely (any waddling makes the tool lose energy). More power is not necessarily a good thing, though, unless the microderm abrasion tool is easier to control which is so due to the rubber grip handles. This tool also has a timer which lets you know when you should stop abrading.
Includes magnesium oxide crystals to polish away dead skin cells and reveal more radiant skin. Contains chamomile, aloe and hibiscus flower extract to help heal, sooth & moisturize the skin.

Includes a Derma-Crystals Microdermabrasion Cream (2.2 oz) and a Peel Activator Serum (2 fl oz.) .
The double peeling effect (from the bicarbonate crystals and lactic acid in the cream) should make a good peeling product but the Olay microdermabrasion system is nothing more than a good facial. The only real effect from using it may be a smoother and slightly brighter skin.

Retail outlets are successfully marketing home microdermabrasion products as low-cost alternatives to medical and spa products. It is part of a major shift toward giving consumers the power to treat themselves for a variety of conditions with over-the-counter products, some of which were formerly only available by prescription. Microdermabrasion is part of the trend for people to do more and more professional procedures at home for less money. However, there are so many new products in the market, with varying degrees of effectiveness, that consumers are confused. Not all home microdermabrasion products truly emulate in-office doctor visits, and some don't work at all, giving microdermabrasion a bad name. Office microdermabrasion is performed by a dermatologist or a licensed skin care specialist with extensive training. The high-priced machine they use varies the intensity of the aluminum oxide crystals being blown onto the skin to exfoliate it and enhance cell turnover, minimizing fine lines, wrinkles and evening out the skin tone. These treatments are to be performed every 3-4 weeks for the first 6-8 sessions, and then every 4-6 weeks. Most at-home microdermabrasion products, such as creams and application machines, are really just a fancier exfoliation method, not true microdermabrasion. Some microdermabrasion creams do contain aluminum oxide crystals like the microdermabrasion machine uses, but are not very effective at applying the crystals since they lubricate the skin. When using microdermabrasion creams, you cleanse your skin, apply the cream and massage in, rinse off and apply your moisturizer. Over time, you will notice some superficial improvement in the appearance of skin. The problem is that professional microdermabrasion relies on the friction, or the abrasion, of the crystals to remove a layer of dead, damaged skin cells, and creams, though easy to apply, actually reduce friction as well as reducing the effectiveness of the product. |
