Treating Acne with Simple Acne Cures

by Judy Aulin

There are a wide range of different treatments that can be used to treat acne. If you're looking for cures for acne then you're most likely to use home remedies, over-the-counter creams, or prescription medication. However, there are a few steps you can follow if you want to keep your skin healthier and acne-free without having to resort to stronger methods.

Here is a short list of some of the things that you can do to complement your skin care routine and deal with your acne problem, at the same time.

*Don't wash your skin more than necessary

Over washing your skin can stimulate the production of sebum and lead to clogged pores. Scrubbing your face can also increase sebum production.

*Apply a honey mask on your face

Honey is a great way of disinfecting and healing minor blemishes. It is also gentle on sensitive skin.

*Keep your hair off of your face

The oil present in your hair will transfer to your face and contribute to breakouts. If you are physically active you may be more likely to transfer oils from your hair to your skin, so consider washin your hair everyday and after workouts.

*Avoid picking or squeezing pimples

When you pick at your pimples in hopes of getting rid of them, you are actually helping increase sebum production. Another good reason to keep hands-off, is that when you break the skin you increase the possibility of bacteria entering the deeper layers of the skin.

*Avoid wearing makeup to bed

For starters, makeup is not an essential part of skin care. In all actuality, it can irritate your skin and clog your pores. So, when you get ready for a replenishing sleep, makes sure you remove all traces of makeup to allow your skin to breathe and restore itself properly.

*Take a strong multi-vitamin and a chromium supplement

Acne can be caused by vitamin deficiency. To remedy this situation, you must make sure that you are getting plenty of vitamins. Chromium, on the other hand, helps the skin heal quickly.

*Eat foods rich in Vitamin A and Zinc

Maintaining a healthy diet is an excellent biological acne cure. As a matter of fact, your dermatologist will probably recommend some dietary changes in addition to traditional acne creams.

Vitamin A strengthens the protective tissue of the skin and reduces sebum production. That's why it is commonly used as an acne remedy. Carrots, spinach and calf liver are all high in vitamin A.

Zinc is an antibacterial agent that can help your body fight off infection. You can obtain zinc from meat products such as beef, turkey, chicken, and even lobsters and crabmeat. However, if you are a vegetarian then you can obtain this mineral by eating foods such as brown rice, potatoes, and peanuts.

*Wash your pillowcase frequently

Your pillowcase can quickly absorb oils from your face and redistribute them. In order to keep this from producing a problem, you should wash your pillowcase and sheets as often as every other day to keep them clean.

Combining all of these steps with a rigorous cleansing routine is what constitutes the perfect acne cure.

All you need to if you want to prevent acne is follow a few simple steps. By doing so you'll keep your skin looking and feeling its best. However, ignoring the problem will only make acne worse and eventually lead to acne scars. So, if you've decided that you do want an effective solution to your acne concerns then you should try BIOACNECARE. This all-natural acne cream is a perfect and safely effective way to treat acne, especially severe acne.
